Anamorph is a media and software studio founded by filmmaker Gary Hustwit and digital artist Brendan Dawes to explore new directions in cinema, visual art, and systems-based storytelling. Our goal is to enhance human creativity, not replace it.

The first project made possible with our proprietary technology — the groundbreaking non-AI generative documentary film Eno — premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. It explores the creativity and ideas of legendary musician and artist Brian Eno through a feature film that’s never the same twice. Eno was the first generative feature film to be released commercially in cinemas, and was shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

Building on the possibilities opened up by Eno, Anamorph is leading a team that invents new technology to re-imagine how films can be made and provide unique viewing experiences for audiences.
