A Pattern from the HTML Pattern Language at Anamorph
Document Format Consistency
The format of any document on a Web site should be consistent with those of the other documents. At this site, that means that every document begins with a Consistent Header and Footer, is Node-Based, and is Readable. Even the error messages follow this format.
Justification for this? I don't know; you tell me. Does this seem to work? Any ideas why or why not?
